This year marks the 250th year Birthday of our great country! Join heart advocates from across the nation for the 6th Annual National CPR & AED Awareness Rally & March.

Celebrate our nation’s milestone birthday in Washington, DC, our nation’s capital, as it comes alive with beautification projects, new museum exhibits, and exciting attractions. This summer is the perfect time for you and your family to visit the capital, honor our history, and help save lives by raising awareness about CPR, AED and Sudden Cardiac Arrest.

Join heart advocates from across the nation as we unite in an incredible, life-saving movement!

Event Schedule - July 23rd - 25th, 2026

Event begins on Thursday, July 23rd with a Save Station and AED donation, everyone is invited to join in. Followed by the first ever Turning of the Tide Flag Ceremony with guest speakers and dedications. Then the Welcome Meet and Greet, where every attendee will have the opportunity to briefly introduce themselves, get event t-shirt and make posters for the annual march.

Remember to send an email to redflags@email.com indicating the name of the SCA survivor or the name of the loved one lost to SCA. Deadline is June 12th, 2026.

Friday, July 24th is Advocacy Day. First thing Friday morning is the opening ceremonies at the Washington Monument, then we march to the Capitol for a CPR demonstration and guest speakers. In the afternoon we will march from the Washington Monument to the front of the White House to teach CPR to the public. During the day we will also be offering free heart screenings at George Washington University. Friday evening features the Heart Advocate Dinner ($55 per person). This is a chance to connect with heart advocates from across the nation. (Click the purchase dinner ticket button above to purchase tickets now! ) Dinner tickets include networking opportunities, hors d’oeuvres, sponsor presentations, dinner and dancing at the “Pulse of Love” dance with a special guest the CPR Man! Registration is required and limited to the first 150 participants. (Sponsorships include dinner tickets; see your package for details below.)

Saturday, July 25th is Training Day at the Washington Monument. Fun filled day, bringing together heart advocates, nonprofits, vendors, and the DC Fire Department to attempt a World Record CPR relay. The day features survivor meetups, lost loved one’s meetups, public CPR training, and a fun, high-energy atmosphere with a DJ and games for all ages.
